Grating is a load-bearing construction used in platforms, decks, technical walkways, hall galleries, service platforms, and mezzanines. They are produced using two basic technologies: welded (load-bearing flat bars + crossbars, joined by resistance welding) and pressed/injected (where flat bars and crossbars are pressed together without welding, resulting in thinner openings and often better appearance). Typical opening spacings: e.g., 34×38 mm, 30×30 mm, 30×2 mm load-bearing profiles and 2-3 mm thick crossbars; dimensional tolerances (e.g., +0 / −4 mm) for installations requiring precision.
Technological channel covers are steel or aluminum plates/grids that cover channels for cable lines, pipelines, ventilation ducts, or media discharge channels in a hall, as well as cable thresholds with removable covers. Their main requirements are: load capacity suitable for loads (pedestrian, carts, warehouse vehicles), safety of use (non-slip surfaces), ease of installation and removal, and surface durability (e.g., galvanized, aluminum, stainless steel in aggressive environments). Typical variants: steel versions (galvanized, painted), aluminum (lighter, weather-resistant), versions with ribbing or perforation for water drainage and increased grip. The standard dimension can reach the width of the channel + about 20-50 mm of reserve, with lengths individually adjusted.
Typical dimensions: height from approximately 200 mm to 1000 mm, width of posts or plates from 60 to 200 mm, thickness of steel material 3-6 mm. Installation usually using anchors, steel bolts, possibly chemical anchors; coloring option (e.g., yellow-black stripes) for visibility.
